Klipfolio was at a critical stage of growth when they engaged with the Artemis Canada team. They had secured Series B ($12M) financing and were well poised for growth, but needed a visionary product leader to help them define and execute on a strategy to develop and launch a new product within 12 months. We worked with them to understand the market, the opportunity, and how this new leader would help them define their future.
The Solution
We flew to Ottawa to spend some time with the leadership team and through in-depth discussions, we heard that they needed a strategic leader who could define and communicate a clear, user-centered product vision. We conducted a thorough search, brought in candidates from the Ottawa area, Toronto, and Canadian expats looking to return from the US.
Artemis worked with the leadership team and board as their vision evolved through meetings with several candidates. There was a clear match when they meet with David Mennie in Ottawa. David had recently been part of a successful tech acquisition and was ready to get back into building stage company.
The Result
With David’s help, Klipfolio has earned a spot in Deloitte's Fast Top 50 and Capterra’s Top 20 Most Popular BI Software. They’ve been named a Market Leader in the Business Intelligence Software category for the Winter 2019 Customer Success Report published by FeaturedCustomers.
