What is an Executive Recruitment Consultant?


What we do isn’t typical agency recruiting, and it isn’t a laid-back corporate gig either.  Our clients are all aiming to be the best and are growing quickly. The bar is high and the standards for integrity, performance and service delivery are uncompromising.


As an Executive Recruitment Consultant, you’ll lead critical recruitment assignments, working with the leaders of impressive technology companies, advising on recruitment strategy and owning the process from engagement through to onboarding. You’ll develop the recruitment marketing strategy for each role, conduct targeted headhunting campaigns and will be the key point of contact for all candidates through the entire process.  This is a very broad role, with a lot of responsibility and autonomy. 

How Do I Know If This Is For Me?


  • We are looking for a team member with a passion for technology, talent match-making and the importance of building tech companies in Canada.

  • You have integrity along with intensity and a competitive streak - the confidence and drive to deliver the best results for our clients.

  • You DO NOT need to have recruitment experience - in fact we’d prefer to teach you this … but you do need to have an abundance of curiosity, initiative, smarts, and a truly genuine care for the getting to the best outcome for both our clients and the individual candidates.

  • You are ready to learn - a lot. You'll not only perfect the tactics and art of the recruiting process, but you'll need to understand how people make significant career and life decisions. You’ll need to understand the business of our clients, and the business challenges and opportunities that have brought them to us. You will learn about the business of running a tech company, by learning how each role fits together.  You'll experience first hand how building an ideal team impacts the success of a business.

  • You have a university degree, ideally in business or a related discipline, and some experience working in the tech sector 


  • You have a proven interest in the business of technology and you know a little about the dynamics of the tech sector.

  • You are a confident communicator - with experience in customer-facing role (sales, customer success or Consulting)

  • You are genuinely interested in people and what motivates and inspires them.

  • You understand the tenacity and resilience needed to succeed in a fast-paced business and are excited to unleash your potential.
