Sr. Director, Business Development - Bond

Who Is Bond & How Are They Changing the World

Bond is a customer intelligence-driven engagement company that helps global brands achieve customer-centric growth. They combine loyalty strategy, technology, data, and marketing services to build customized solutions for leading enterprise clients including brands like Ford, CIBC, Aveda, and more. With deep expertise in loyalty and customer engagement, Bond has built a strong foundation as a trusted partner to complex, enterprise organizations.

Bond is at an exciting inflection point, with ambitious growth plans and a renewed focus on expanding the reach and impact of its work across clients, industries, and solution areas. With new growth leadership in place, increased investment in go-to-market, and a strong foundation of client partnerships, Bond is looking for senior business development leaders who can help shape the next chapter of growth.

How Will I Make An Impact?

You will:

  • Own the full business development cycle, from identifying and developing new opportunities through to pursuit strategy, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Act as a trusted senior client partner, leveraging your expertise in business development, marketing, and relationship growth to qualify leads, nurture prospect relationships, and connect clients to the right Bond solutions.
  • Proactively build relationships in the market, creating new conversations with prospective clients and uncovering opportunities for Bond to add value.
  • Manage the sales pipeline for new and recently acquired clients, including revenue forecasting, timeline tracking, and regular reporting to leadership.
  • Bring together the right expertise from across Bond to design, pitch, price, and deliver solutions that drive client success.
  • Develop compelling proposals that clearly define objectives, deliverables, timelines, success measures, and Bond’s value proposition.
  • Oversee onboarding and delivery alignment for newly acquired clients, ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to long-term partner.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing and recently acquired accounts, expanding relationships across Bond’s broader capabilities.
  • Meet quarterly and annual growth targets while managing financial performance for your portfolio of accounts.
How Do I Know If This Is For Me?
  • You are energized by growth, leadership, and results.
  • You are a proactive business developer who enjoys creating opportunities, not just responding to them.
  • You are comfortable owning the full sales cycle, from early relationship-building and qualification through to proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • You enjoy acting as a senior client partner and helping clients work through complex business challenges.
  • You bring a strategic mindset and can connect client needs to a broader suite of services and solutions.
  • You know how to bring internal experts together to shape thoughtful, high-impact client solutions.
  • You can navigate matrixed environments and gain buy-in across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • You are commercially minded and comfortable with pipeline management, revenue forecasting, margins, and executive reporting.
Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:
  • 10+ years in a client-facing role with direct responsibility for revenue achievement, account growth, and new business development with major brands.
  • Senior-level experience in business development, consulting, agency leadership, or another relevant client-facing growth role across multiple solution domains.
  • Experience owning a full-cycle business development motion, including proactive prospecting, opportunity qualification, pursuit leadership, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • A proven track record of winning and growing complex accounts through strategic solution selling.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, proposal development, and competitive positioning.
  • Experience working with internal practice leads, solution leaders, and delivery teams to shape and pitch client solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under aggressive timelines.
  • Financial acumen to manage revenue forecasts, costs, profit margins, and executive reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and senior-level experience.
