Senior Product Manager | Wagepoint

Who is Wagepoint & How Are They Changing the World

Wagepoint is a leading provider of simple, fast, and friendly payroll and HR software targeted primarily at small to medium-sized businesses across Canada. By automating the complexities of payroll, Wagepoint is helping businesses streamline operations, maintain compliance, and save countless hours spent on payroll management, allowing business owners to focus more on the heart of their business operations.

How Will I Make An Impact?

As Wagepoint’s first Senior Product Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing Wagepoint’s product evolution. You’ll lead discovery practices that uncover real customer needs and translate them into strategies that drive adoption and business outcomes. You’ll own major product areas and ensure every initiative has a clear roadmap, measurable success metrics, and alignment across stakeholders.

You will guide Wagepoint’s journey to unify payroll, Time, and People into a modern, AI-enabled platform. This means closing functional gaps, and driving adoption of new experiences in mobile, integrations, and automation. You’ll also model product craft and introduce frameworks that raise executional excellence across the team. In this role, you’ll directly influence how tens of thousands of small businesses pay and manage their people.

How Do I Know If This Is For Me?

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Are energized by the challenge of joining a lean, focused team at a pivotal moment, where your decisions will accelerate the company’s transformation and growth.
  • Love digging deep into customer discovery — turning feedback and data into clear strategies that shape roadmaps and executive decisions.
  • Have a track record of owning strategic product areas, not just features, and building roadmaps that balance customer value, technical feasibility, and business outcomes.
  • Value cross-functional alignment, providing crisp communication and product narratives that inspire confidence across executives, engineering, design, and GTM.
  • Are curious about AI, and excited to champion new tools that accelerate discovery, insight synthesis, and delivery.
Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:
  • 5–8+ years of product management experience across multiple companies.
  • Proven success owning strategic product areas or product lines in B2B SaaS.
  • Experience in at least one of: AI, integrations/API, or mobile product development.
  • Strong discovery and strategy skills, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator with executives, peers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Metrics-driven, with a clear ability to define and track KPIs.
