As one of Canada’s most trusted fintech brands, Questrade combines innovation with purpose, designing accessible, powerful tools for investors at every stage. Whether someone is opening their first TFSA or actively trading options, Questrade makes financial empowerment intuitive.

How Will I Make An Impact?

As a Senior Product Designer focused on Questrade’s .com experience, you’ll bring together design craft and strategic thinking to create a seamless, striking, and modern user experience across the public-facing site.

  • Design visually compelling and logically sound web experiences that balance brand, marketing, and user needs
  • Partner with platform designers, product, and marketing to ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Stay ahead of modern design trends and incorporate UI-focused AI tools to enhance your workflow
  • Leverage user research and performance data to validate design assumptions and continuously iterate
  • Help shape the future of how Canadians engage with Questrade online
  • Lead Questrade’s .com experience as a standalone design expert within a high-functioning creative team
  • Collaborate closely with 3D artists and product designers, sharing knowledge across disciplines
  • Bring a builder’s mindset: roll up your sleeves to create assets and architect flows
  • Advocate for the value of web design, raising the visual bar and influencing how the team thinks about public web experience

How Do I Know If This Is For Me?

  • You’re confident leading 0→1 web design projects and enjoy iterating quickly to improve them
  • You have a sharp eye for what's trendy, expressive, and high-impact in web UI
  • You balance visual polish and flow logic with ease, and enjoy both equally
  • You bring a strong sense of structure and visual craft, and are comfortable splitting your time 50/50 between creating assets and designing flows
  • You’re deeply curious about how to integrate AI into your design process
  • You want to contribute to a tight-knit, high-autonomy team that values curiosity and mutual learning
  • You have experience designing for established, high-traffic products, and can deliver quality design in mature environments
  • You care about financial literacy and want to create smart experiences that feel effortless to use

Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, with at least 3 years in a senior capacity
  • Strong portfolio showcasing visually stunning, responsive web design with measurable business impact
  • Proven success launching polished digital experiences, especially within mature or high-traffic product environments
  • Comfortable working hands-on in Figma (60–70% of your time)
  • Experienced in both asset creation (illustrations, banners, visuals) and flow structuring, with roughly a 50/50 split
  • Some exposure to motion design principles is helpful (a 3D artist is available for support on more advanced work)
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with tools like Blender, Lottie, or Sigma40 is a bonus
  • Brings a forward-thinking design mindset, with a pulse on visual trends, emerging tools, and modern UI best practices
  • Naturally curious about how AI can streamline design workflows and enhance creative output

Please note: This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week required onsite at Questrade's North York, ON office.
