Who Is Questrade & How Are They Changing the World
Questrade Financial Group is on a mission to help Canadians become much more financially successful and secure. Through its portfolio of financial services businesses, including Questrade, Questbank, Questrade Wealth Management, Community Trust Company, Zolo and Flexiti, the organization is helping Canadians invest, build wealth and navigate important financial decisions.
Founded in 1999, Questrade has grown from an online brokerage into a diversified financial services group with an ambition to challenge Canada's traditional banking model. By building its own regulated banking infrastructure instead of relying on third-party sponsor banks, it is laying the foundation for more connected experiences across banking, investing and wealth building. Built without outside equity funding and described by leadership as profitable, Questrade combines the staying power of an established business with the ambition of a technology-first challenger.
How Will I Make An Impact?
As Senior Manager, Growth Marketing, you'll help attract and convert high-value customers across Questrade's businesses as it advances a more connected vision for personal finance. The opportunity is not simply to generate more accounts, but to reach people whose needs and financial ambitions align with the long-term value Questrade can deliver.
Working closely with the Lead, Growth Marketing, you'll connect strategy with execution across paid acquisition, organic growth, digital experiences and integrated campaigns. You'll use customer insight, acquisition economics and experimentation to understand which audiences to prioritize, how to convert them and what creates value beyond the initial sign-up.
- Own and execute full-funnel customer acquisition strategies that bring high-value customers into the Questrade ecosystem.
- Lead growth economics, performance forecasting and channel investment decisions to drive efficient, profitable acquisition.
- Develop and optimize acquisition programs across paid media, SEO/AEO, website and app experiences, CRO and promotional offers.
- Use attribution, incrementality testing and funnel analytics to understand what is truly driving customer growth.
- Identify and test new acquisition opportunities, using customers' financial goals, attitudes and behaviours to inform audience strategies, creative, channels, offers and digital experiences.
- Partner closely with Product Marketing, Brand, Lifecycle, Analytics, Creative, Onboarding and Engagement teams to execute integrated growth initiatives.
- Lead relationships with external agencies, vendors and partners, establishing clear performance expectations and accountability.
- Build repeatable experimentation frameworks and growth playbooks that improve performance over time.
- Leverage AI and automation to improve speed, effectiveness and decision-making.
How Do I Know If This Is For Me?
You're a growth marketer who thinks beyond individual channels and account volumes. You understand that acquisition is only part of the equation, and that sustainable growth connects relevant customer needs, conversion, acquisition economics and long-term value.
You combine analytical rigour with commercial judgment and creative experimentation. You're equally comfortable discussing acquisition economics with leadership, reviewing funnel performance with analytics and working with creative and product teams to improve conversion.
You enjoy the complexity of a scaled organization but bring the ownership, curiosity and momentum of a builder.
- You love owning a problem from strategy through execution and measurement.
- You're energized by finding new ways to acquire valuable customers, not simply increasing media spend.
- You can interpret complex data and make smart decisions, even when the information is imperfect.
- You know how to build alignment and move initiatives forward across multiple functions.
- You're comfortable being accountable for outcomes without needing every contributor to report directly to you.
- You enjoy testing new ideas and building on what works.
