Product Manager - Occupier

Who Is Occupier & How Are They Changing the World

Occupier is a modern lease management and accounting platform built specifically for tenants. It gives real estate and finance teams one place to centralize lease data, automate compliance, manage critical dates, and work from the same source of truth.

Today, more than 400 customers manage over 100,000 leases in Occupier. The company is now pushing the category forward again by embedding AI directly into lease workflows - not as a side experiment, but as a dependable part of how customers find information and get work done.

How Will I Make An Impact?

  • Own the roadmap and execution for lease administration and deal management, from discovery through delivery.
  • Define requirements, write specs, and partner closely with engineering and design to ship high-quality features on a regular cadence.
  • Identify where AI can fundamentally change how our customers work — not as a bolt-on, but as a rethink of the workflow itself.
  • Talk to customers constantly: Synthesizing feedback, identifying patterns, and translating real pain points into product decisions.
  • Drive alignment across engineering, customer success, and go-to-market on what we're building and why.
  • Contribute to setting a high bar for how PM work gets done at Occupier — process, documentation, prioritization frameworks.

How Do I Know If This Is For Me?

  • You are a strong written communicator. Your specs are clear, your reasoning is tight, and stakeholders rarely need to ask follow-up questions.
  • You use AI tools heavily in your own work in research, writing, synthesis  and prioritization…  and you don't wait to be shown how.
  • You are comfortable going deep into a complex domain and becoming an internal expert.
  • You make decisions with incomplete information and don't wait for perfect data.
  • You are opinionated but collaborative; you have a point of view and can defend it, but you update when you're wrong.
  • You are self-directed and thrive without heavy management overhead.
  • You are outcomes-focused, always tying product efforts to customer and business needs.

Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning a core B2B SaaS product.
  • Experience with workflow-heavy, data-intensive products (lease management, ERP, accounting, legal tech, or similar domains a strong plus).
  • You have shipped AI-powered features or have a clear, grounded point of view on where AI creates real leverage in B2B workflows (and where it doesn't!)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive a product area end-to-end: discovery, prioritization, delivery, and iteration.
  • Comfortable working in a small team where you are the only PM on a product area.
  • Experience working directly with customers beyond reading research. You’ve led calls and synthesized insights yourself.
