Who Is DCG & How Are They Changing the World
DCG is Canada’s leading platform for agricultural outbuilding valuations. DCG relaunched in early 2026 with a revamped, SaaS-driven solution for insurers, brokers, appraisers, farm advisors, risk managers, lenders, and more. DCG has the potential to accelerate growth by deepening value for its loyal subscriber base while expanding into new markets across Canada.
DCG is part of First Acre, an innovative InsurTech startup focused on serving the agriculture sector, and this role will collaborate closely with the broader First Acre team.
We’re looking for a customer- and market-focused Product Manager to join this remote team. This role blends customer feedback and support with ownership of the product roadmap and long-term strategy, ensuring the DCG platform continues to expand its client base across Canada. This is a unique opportunity to own and shape the product strategy from the ground up, where your contributions will directly influence its success and evolution.
How Will I Make An Impact?
As DCG’s Product Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing DCG’s product evolution, reporting to the CEO.
You’ll lead discovery practices that uncover real customer needs and translate them into strategies that drive adoption and business outcomes. You’ll own major product areas and ensure every initiative has a clear roadmap, measurable success metrics, and alignment across stakeholders.
You will guide DCG’s journey to scale the platform, focusing on closing functional gaps, improving adoption, expanding into new customer segments, and supporting the transition onto the new platform.
How Do I Know If This Is For Me?
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Are energized by the opportunity of joining a lean, collaborative team at a pivotal moment, where your decisions will accelerate the company’s growth.
- Love digging deep into customer discovery - turning feedback and data into clear strategies that shape roadmaps and decisions.
- Have a track record of owning strategic product direction, not just features, and building roadmaps that balance customer value, technical feasibility, and business outcomes.
- Enjoy hands-on customer interaction, including onboarding, training, and supporting users as the platform continues to scale.
- Value cross-functional alignment, working closely with engineering, design, customer support and GTM.
- Are self-directed and motivated by an early-stage environment with lots of experimentation.
Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:
- 5-8+ years of product management or customer success-focused experience in a high-growth environment.
- Proven success owning strategic product areas or product lines in B2B or SMB SaaS.
- Strong customer discovery and strategy skills, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
- Experience and comfort having a portion of the role (~25% upfront) supporting customer ongoing and training to deeply understand the subscribers’ needs.
- An excellent communicator and collaborator with executives, peers, and cross-functional teams.
- Metrics-driven, with a clear ability to define and track KPIs in an agile product development environment.
- Relaunch or startup experience is an asset.
- Domain experience in agriculture/AgTech, construction, real estate, appraisal or insurance is an asset.
- Ability to travel occasionally within Canada for events, trade shows and client visits.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Full compensation will be a base salary and a bonus based on performance
- Competitive benefits and RRSP matching plan
- Flexible remote work environment
- Opportunities for professional growth and support for certifications or designations
We understand, accept, and value the differences between people of different backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, ages, beliefs, and abilities. We aim to create an inclusive environment and encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply.
