Founding Engineers - Keplar

Who Is Keplar & How Are They Changing the World

Keplar is building an AI-powered market research platform that enables qualitative research at quantitative scale. By pairing voice AI interviews with agentic analysis, Keplar acts as an end-to-end, verticalized platform for market research and consumer insights, helping enterprises design learning plans, run dynamic customer conversations, and turn rich qualitative data into actionable reporting and strategy.

At the core of the product is a voice AI researcher that conducts real, dynamic conversations with customers and users, functioning like a high-quality moderator that executes studies and captures nuanced feedback. Once this data is collected, Keplar’s platform helps teams make sense of it through generative reporting and an agentic analyst inspired by cutting-edge LLM and code-based analysis, transforming raw conversations into structured insights for brand and product-building decisions.

Keplar largely serves enterprise customers and works with brands that shape the world across CPG and SaaS. The company is backed by a tight group of leading investors, including Kleiner Perkins, SV Angel, Common Metal, South Park Commons, and notable angels from top brands.

This is an opportunity to join at a defining moment: the team has strong traction, revenue is accelerating, and they are building foundational systems at the intersection of voice AI, agentic workflows, and enterprise software.

  • You care deeply about product quality, user experience, and engineering excellence

Location: This is a remote role for candidates in Waterloo and Toronto, who are open to in person time as needed. There may be future office space in this regions.

Vacancy: This role is a newly created position.

The Process:
  • Introductory conversation with Ashley from Artemis Canada
  • Interview #1: A conversation about your background with Founder Dhruv, exploring what you're looking for in your next role, and what drew you to Keplar. We'll also discuss the role and answer any questions you have (45 minutes)
  • Interview #2: A discussion-based interview about your experience building web applications with Founder William. Expect to walk through real systems you've worked on and go deep on specifics. (discussion based, 1 hour)
  • Interview #3: A three-part exercise:
    • Working session (30 min, in-call):we'll share a product concept and work with you to flesh out a specification. Open-ended discussion, no starter materials.
    • Solo screen-recorded build (90 min, async):you'll build a functional prototype using a coding assistant of your choice. We'll hand you a written build spec with a starter repo. The spec is high level, with behavioral descriptions specific enough to take most of the guesswork out of decision-making, but it is not a detailed acceptance-criteria checklist.
    • Hot recap (15 min, in-call):a brief same-day conversation immediately after the build.
  • Final Interview: A collaborative working session on-site.
  • Final conversations and offer stage.

And of course, your Artemis Canada recruiter will work closely with you throughout every step of the process.

We’d love to hear from you - even if you don’t meet 100% of the requirements!
