Now, they’re making an ambitious move into media. With the launch of QuestMedia, Questrade is creating a new in-house, multi-format content division that will reimagine how Canadians learn about money, markets, and their financial future.
How Will I Make An Impact?
As the founding Editor in Chief of QuestMedia, you’ll be the architect of a new editorial brand. You’ll own the strategy, voice, and output of a media operation that spans video, audio, written, and social content. With the resources of a leading fintech and the creative autonomy of a newsroom, you’ll shape how Questrade shows up in Canada’s financial conversation.
- Define and execute a content strategy that makes complex financial topics engaging, accessible, and actionable
- Build a modern content operation that responds in real-time, without sacrificing accuracy or quality
- Craft and champion a distinct editorial identity for QuestMedia: bold, credible, and human
- Lead strategy and growth across organic social channels, building audiences and communities
- Recruit and lead a high-performing content team, spanning writing, social, video, and audio
- Create the systems, workflows, and analytics framework to scale content that performs and informs
- Partner with product, marketing, and compliance to align content with brand, legal, and business goals

- You bring rigour to creative work- using data to validate instincts and scale impact
Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:
- Expertise in digital media, content strategy, or journalism
- Experience in a senior leadership role building and managing high-performing content teams
- Deep familiarity with personal finance, investing, and the Canadian financial landscape
- Proven success launching and scaling a media property, brand, or editorial function
- Strong portfolio of content or campaigns with measurable audience growth and ROI
- Expert in multi-platform storytelling (written, video, audio, social)
- Deep experience with SEO, engagement metrics, and performance content strategy
- Mastery of organic social strategy and community building across major platforms
- Exceptional communicator with strong cross-functional and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with ambiguity
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related field (Master’s a plus)
Please note: This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week required onsite at Questrade's North York, ON office.

The Process
You’ll begin with an intro call with Artemis, followed by interviews key stakeholders across content, product, and compliance at Questrade. A working session or case may be included to walk through your editorial vision and content strategy.
