How Will I Make An Impact?

As the Director of Product Engagement, you’ll lead a multi-channel & multi-product strategy, planning process, development and execution for how customers can mazimize their experience with Questrade. This pivotal role involves overseeing a team dedicated to engaging customers throughout their lifecycle, from initial onboarding to investing, to fostering long-term retention of their most valuable clients. Reporting to the Head of Investing Marketing, you’ll be instrumental in shaping how Questrade communicates with their customers, ensuring every interaction builds loyalty and drives business growth.

  • You’re a strategic thinker who can lead customer engagement across the full journey - from onboarding to retention.
  • You’ve led and developed high-performing teams with a focus on innovation and collaboration.
  • You have hands-on experience running integrated multi-channel campaigns (email, in-app, push, SMS, etc.).
  • You can map and optimize customer journeys in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • You know how to guide the creation of relevant, personalized, action-driving content.
  • You define and track KPIs, and use data to drive communication effectiveness and ROI.
  • You’re fluent in A/B testing and personalization, and champion a culture of experimentation.
  • You collaborate effectively across product, engineering, data, success, and sales to align messaging.
  • You stay current on industry trends and use that insight to evolve engagement strategies.
  • You ensure brand voice, tone, and visuals are consistent across all customer communications.

Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

  • Operator experience at a senior level in marketing, having guided high-performing teams and strategies across customer engagement, CRM, or lifecycle marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful multi-channel customer engagement strategies that drive measurable results in retention, loyalty, and customer lifetime value.
  • Deep expertise in CRM platforms, marketing automation tools (e.g., AJO, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot), and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, personalization techniques, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies clearly and persuasively.
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong analytical aptitude and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • You’re comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate content creation, experimentation, and optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Please note: This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week required onsite at Questrade's North York, ON office

The Process

You will begin with an initial conversation with Artemis, followed by interviews with the Director of Growth Acquisition, Group Head of Questrade and key collaborators across marketing and product. A case or working session may be included to better understand your approach.
