Director of Partner Services - Wagepoint

Who Is Wagepoint & How Are They Changing the World

Wagepoint is a leading provider of simple, fast, and friendly payroll and HR software targeted primarily at small to medium-sized businesses across North America. By automating the complexities of payroll, Wagepoint is helping businesses streamline operations, maintain compliance, and save countless hours spent on payroll management, allowing business owners to focus more on the heart of their business operations.

How Will I Make An Impact?

In this role, you’ll build and lead Wagepoint’s Partner Services & Enablement function at a pivotal moment. In the near term, you’ll guide Wagepoint’s partner ecosystem through a major company priority: migrating partners from Wagepoint 1.0 to Wagepoint 2.0. With a lean team, you’ll own the strategy, planning, and execution required to deliver a smooth partner transition, coordinating across Sales, Product, Support, Compliance, and Payroll Operations while building repeatable workflows and playbooks along the way.

Beyond the initial migration, this role is about establishing the long-term operating model for how Wagepoint supports partners through larger, more complex moves - from pilot programs and readiness planning, to scaled onboarding and implementation support. You’ll build the muscle that enables stronger partner adoption, unlocks bigger partner-led opportunities, and ensures Wagepoint can deliver high-quality outcomes as the partner channel scales.

This is a high-visibility, cross-functional leadership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and execution: sequencing work, managing dependencies, mitigating risk, and building trust with partners throughout change - while developing a function that becomes a core part of Wagepoint’s partner growth engine.

How Do I Know If This Is For Me?
  • You love owning complex, high-stakes programs where success depends on clear planning, partner trust, and strong execution
  • You’re energized by building structure and operational clarity in fast-moving environments
  • You’re excited to lead a major partner migration from 1.0 → 2.0 and build the structure, workflows, and enablement foundation Wagepoint will use to scale partner onboarding and services long-term
  • You’re comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on delivery
  • You enjoy working with accounting and bookkeeping partners and understand how they operate, adopt software, and scale their client books
  • You take pride in helping teams and partners navigate change with confidence, clarity, and consistency
Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:
  • Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or partner-facing SaaS environments
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder migrations or implementations
  • Strong program and project management skills (planning, sequencing, dependencies, risk mitigation)
  • Confident cross-functional operator who can coordinate across Sales, Product, Payroll Ops, and Support
  • Experience leading and growing a team
  • A people-first leader who builds clarity, structure, and accountability while maintaining trust and momentum
