How Will I Make An Impact?
This role will be critical in bringing together analytics capabilities into a cohesive, full-funnel strategy that drives measurable business impact through:
- Leading and scaling the analytics and insights function, delivering actionable insights that shape business decisions, customer experience, and marketing effectiveness
- Defining and operationalizing advanced analytics frameworks to optimize campaigns, product experiences, and overall performance
- Unifying analytics across Growth, Product, and Finance to create a single, end-to-end view of the customer journey-from acquisition through engagement, monetization, and retention
- Establishing a scalable data governance foundation by standardizing tracking, taxonomy, and metric definitions across the organization
- Shifting the organization from reactive reporting to proactive, insight-driven decision-making that informs strategy and investment decisions
- Partnering with senior leaders to connect product and marketing investments to revenue outcomes, cohort value, and overall business performance
- Building and enabling a culture of rigorous experimentation and predictive analytics to support ambitious growth targets
Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in analytics or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing analytics or data science teams
- Strong technical foundation in data analysis and modern analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, cloud platforms)
- Familiarity with using popular machine learning frameworks and libraries like PyTorch,Keras, SciKit-learn, sparkML etc
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience leading across multiple analytics functions (e.g., web analytics, data science, experimentation/CRO) and bringing them together under a unified strategy
- Strong point of view on data governance, including instrumentation, taxonomy, and consistent metric definition across teams
- Track record of evolving data science teams from reactive or academic models into high-impact, business-aligned partners
- Deep understanding of full-funnel analytics and how to connect growth, product, and financial outcomes
- Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to tie analytics work directly to revenue, investment decisions, and P&L impact
- Experience in high-growth or scaling environments, with exposure to ambitious performance targets and measurable outcomes
- Ability to build predictive models that incorporate both internal performance data and external market dynamics
- Experience in financial services or fintech is an asset, but not required

Location: This role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in-office at the North York HQ, and flexibility to spend one of those days at the downtown Toronto office. In-office time has been intentionally designed to support strong collaboration and team connection.
Vacancy: This role is a newly created position.
Salary: Annual compensation is expected to exceed $200,000 CAD; details to be shared if selected for an interview.
