How Are They Changing the World?

Our client is a successful, well-established B2B SaaS company and leading provider of engineering software tools globally. They’re in an exciting period of transformation and they need a seasoned VP Sales to build and implement a global strategy for enterprise sales. This leader will own the strategic account division and will be a key driver in growth over the next 2-4 years (they’re seeking to double ARR by 2026!).

How Will I Make An Impact?

As the VP Sales (Strategic Accounts) you will lead the growth and development of a new division on a global scale. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll build and implement their global strategy for enterprise level sales. 


Some of the responsibilities you can expect in this role:

  • You will directly manage and provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to a cross-functional, global team.

  • You’ll develop and implement objectives for the strategic accounts division.

  • Working with the executive team, you’ll establish sales targets and prepare sales and marketing plans, as well as profit and loss budgets for the division.

  • You’ll establish a process, and work with your team to gain access and build relationships with key executives and decision makers at the enterprise level, globally.

  • You’ll build and execute sales and business development initiatives to improve awareness of their products and increase sales pipeline.

  • You’ll build and nurture long term business relationships with industry leaders. 

  • You’ll understand what motivates customers to buy and what drives the industry to grow and develop and implement strategies to tap into those needs.

  • You’ll collaborate with the executive team to further company growth and profitability.

Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

  • Enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience (preferably engineering software products!) 

  • Experience navigating high value deals and leading complex sales processes at senior levels of a prospect’s organization.

  • Ability to network with and gain access to industry leaders at the C-level.

  • Proven success leading and developing sales teams and fostering engagement and success. 

  • Experience building effective enterprise sales strategies.

  • Ability to effectively analyse and action data, manage budgets and own the P&L of a division or product line.

The Process:

As your Artemis Canada Recruitment Consultant, I’ll work closely with you through every step of the process. After a first conversation with me, the process (at a high level) will include:

  • An interview with the CEO

  • An interview with 2 other VP’s (likely VP Marketing and the VP Sales of the other division. 

  • Work Sample/Presentation 

  • Final conversation with the CEO
