Skimmer is a SaaS scale-up serving small businesses & disrupting an antiquated industry - pool servicing businesses.

Skimmer has a big goal – to turn an antiquated industry on its head with our cutting-edge software and we’re off to a great start. We’re a private equity backed company ($10M) with thousands of customers using Skimmer’s pool service software today - ditching the old paper-based systems and running their businesses the modern way. But we’re not stopping there. Our team is growing in leaps and bounds and we’re conquering new challenges every day. We’re looking for big thinkers with small egos to join us on our mission to digitally transform the pool services industry. We have a 75 NPS and currently attract half of our new accounts from referrals.


How Will I Make An Impact?


Skimmer is looking for a VP, Growth Marketing to help take Skimmer’s explosive growth to a whole new level. Your focus will be to build a sales pipeline through effective demand generation, customer marketing, and account based marketing programs. Reporting to the CEO, you will define, develop, and operationalize the Skimmer Growth Marketing strategy, focused on lead acquisition, pipeline generation, customer marketing, and account expansion.

How Do I Know If This Is For Me?

We’re looking for a data driven Marketing Leader to -

  • Lead the planning and implementation of the Skimmer customer acquisition program, including all aspects of demand generation campaign development, execution, and measurement.

  • Drive demand generation strategies and manage an annual lead generation and pipeline target, and know how to achieve it using all the tools in the inbound growth marketing tool belt (search, SEO, social, display, content, webinars, email, trade shows, etc).

  • Build, implement, and measure robust ABM strategies targeting existing customers and identified key logos not yet with Skimmer to drive ARR.

  • Partner with content marketing specialists to drive content strategy across the top, middle, and bottom of the funnel that focuses on organic inbound customer acquisition and customer success.

  • Create automated lead and customer nurture campaigns that deliver the right message to the right person at the right time to drive measurable outcomes.

  • Manage planning and execution for trade shows and conferences, with the ability to track and measure ROI with precision.

  • Own the marketing stack, ensure we have the right marketing technology infrastructure to both scale and deliver the best possible customer experience and to increase the capacity and sophistication of the end-to-end GTM motion.

  • Own marketing analytics and reporting, with a data driven orientation and deep experience with funnel analytics and key B2B SaaS unit economics (MQL, pipeline, CAC, LTV, CPL, etc).

  • Leverage funnel data and unit economics to inform all growth marketing strategy decisions.

  • Create and own the budget and ensure a demonstrable ROI on our growth marketing efforts.

  • Recruit, hire, and lead a team of like-minded mechanical, mathematical marketers that obsess over the details, execute complex strategies flawlessly, and drive measurable results.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 10+ years experience leading and building B2B growth marketing teams and strategies in a startup environment with exponential ARR growth.

  • Seasoned marketing leader and strategist who builds and executes effective multi-channel programs to increase market awareness, generate demand, and accelerate pipeline generation.

  • Analytical, data-driven marketer that has a deep understanding of demand and lead acquisition strategies, the end-to-end marketing and sales funnel, and marketing analytics.
