Artemis Canada has partnered with Roadmunk - a high growth start-up in a fast-moving and highly competitive market - to find a Senior Product Marketing Manager. What sets Roadmunk apart is a deep understanding of the users' psychology and an ability to produce simple solutions to complex problems. They operate from a place of deep empathy.

Roadmunk was inspired by a problem the founders experienced personally: there was no simple way for product managers to build and share roadmaps. Latif Nanji, co-founder and CEO, is also a product manager and, when faced with this problem he teamed up with co-founder, Tomas Benda to build a solution. The resulting app helps companies create and effectively manage roadmaps of all shapes, sizes, and types. The goal is to make strategic roadmapping quick, effective, and collaborative.

 

And it’s working. The most forward-thinking product teams (thousands of them!) including top companies like Amazon, Disney and eBay are using Roadmunk to align their stakeholders and execs using beautiful, crystal-clear roadmaps.

How Will I Make An Impact?

 

Reporting to the VP of Product, Rob Bayley, you will maximize the impact of the go-to-market efforts by arming Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams with well-researched positioning, messaging, and collateral. With your deep market and product knowledge, you’ll also have a major influence on company and product strategy.

Specifically, you'll be responsible for:

 

  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Differentiating and elevating Roadmunk with strong positioning and messaging.
     

  • Sales Enablement: Empowering their sales team by delivering assets, training and support to the sales team.
     

  • Go to Market Programs: Expertly deliver new products and features to market through cross-functional teams like marketing, sales, customer success, product, and engineering.
     

  • Competitive Analysis: Continually assess their fast moving competitive landscape. Signal opportunities & threats early and augment go-to-market strategies to address them.
     

  • Pricing and Packaging: Leverage your deep market and product knowledge to advise on pricing & packaging strategy and introduce changes as necessary.

You enjoy working across teams and love bringing together the efforts of cross-functional teams like marketing, sales, customer success, product, and engineering. You like having your finger on the pulse and staying competitive. You excel at identifying opportunities and threats early and use those insights to augment go-to-market strategies to address them.

Do I Have What It Takes?

  • Have 7+ years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager in B2B SaaS.
     

  • Know how businesses purchase software and can design the ideal customer acquisition and expansion journey.
     

  • Prefer to operate in a strategic capacity but also love to roll up your sleeves and deliver.
     

  • Think on your feet & adapt quickly to the changing realities of the market & product.
     

  • Influence and motivate cross-functional teams to buy in and take action.
     

  • Deeply understand what it takes to bring products and features to market effectively.
