How You’ll Make An Impact?


The Solutions Advising team is an integral part of VersaPay's DNA. This team is responsible for being true product experts, consulting with prospects to understand their business needs and secure technical buy-in during the sales cycle and working cross-functionally (partnering with product, product marketing, sales, and customer success/professional services). 

 

As a Solutions Engineer you will report into the VP, Product and get to:

  • Be a chameleon; getting to work with a wide variety of clients

  • Deliver advanced product demonstrations and secure a technical buy

  • Be revenue focused - this team has a big impact on acquiring new clients!

  • Maintain deep expertise in the suite of VersaPay product and services

  • Create ways to programmatically and repeatedly demonstrate the platform and ways the platform could provide value

  • Formulate and communicate the integration strategy between ARC and the prospects’ current systems

  • Enhance standard software demonstrations for use by internal team members

  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events while acting as a true product subject matter expert

  • Interface with Product Management to convey client requirements and refine product roadmap

Do I Have What It Takes? (Requirements)

You have:
 

  • A firm grasp of Accounting practices (having exposure to Accounting Software is preferred)

  • A strong understanding of SaaS software solutions

  • An understanding of relational databases and are able to write basic SQL scripts to manipulate data for demonstration purposes

  • Familiarity with installing (and maintaining) a local version of the platform through versioning technologies such as GIT

  • The ability to write in front-end web technologies such as CSS, HTML 5 and JavaScript to manipulate the user interface for demonstration purposes

  • The ability to elicit customer requirements and translate them into estimated development man-hours and complexity while liaising with the Product team

  • The ability to build strong ROI cases that are tailored to the business requirements of prospects

  • A comfortability in client-facing environments and presentations

  • A solutions-oriented approach, high technical aptitude and business acumen

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints
