Who Is Nfinite Nanotech & How Are They Changing the World?

Over 300M tonnes of plastic waste are produced each year. Less than 10% is actually recycled, and the rest ends up in landfills or the ocean. Here’s why: Fully recyclable + compostable packaging doesn’t preserve food well, so CPG companies opt to use partially recyclable packaging and avoid compostable packaging. Nfinite Nanotech has the solution: They’ve created a thin nanocoating layer that CPG companies can add to fully compostable + recyclable packaging that preserves food freshness. Bonus: It’s easily integrated into existing production lines at high speed and low cost. 

How Will I Make An Impact?

As the Sales Leader, you’ll work closely with the CEO to build and manage multimillion-dollar collaborations with their CPG and packaging converter partners. You’ll focus on growing Nfinite’s revenue by building a portfolio of high-reward collaborations from the ground up. You will:

      

  • Build and refine Nfinite’s go-to-market strategy by developing their ideal customer profile and end-to-end sales and customer experience playbook. 

  • Develop a deep understanding of prospective customers’ business and product needs in order to help inform product requirements                  

  • Become a subject matter expert by developing a strong grasp of the competitive landscape, navigating the entire circular value chain, and keeping up with the latest trends in sustainable packaging     

  • Build relationships with net-new accounts that lead to conversions while also “landing and expanding” with current customers

  • Develop an understanding of the complete value chain

  • Develop an understanding of customer’s unit economics, volumes and product structure

  • Define, measure, and communicate key performance indicators using a data-driven approach to optimize Nfinite’s product offering and collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, propose, and develop new applications for their technology.

  • Act as an expert on all things Nfinite as the main point of contact for customers. 

  • Be a player/coach: You’ll start solo but after the commercialization strategy is set and proven, you’ll build out the sales function

How Do I Know If This Is For Me?

You’re passionate about sustainability and understand the value of reducing plastic waste in the food packaging industry. You have a background in CPG but also understand the needs of a small, fast-paced startup. You love all things sales and customer experience: You can build new relationships and nurture existing ones to grow accounts. You either have leadership experience or the thought of eventually leading a team excites you. You have proven success meeting targets and iterating on sales processes. Last, but absolutely not least - you value a low-ego, high collaboration environment.

Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

You have:

  • Experience managing complex B2B sales, ideally with large multinational customers with high volume production scales

  • A background in CPG

  • Experience building out sales strategy, process, and playbooks

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • Proven success meeting sales targets

  • An exploratory and creative mindset to identify new and interesting business opportunities 

  • Experience working with lean teams in either a start-up or intrapreneurial environment to build initiatives and projects from scratch 

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

 

Bonus points if:

  • You have a background in account management / customer experience

  • You have a strong sense of humor - Nfinite Nanotech likes to have fun! 

  • You have experience using data to inform, report and forecast sales

The Process:

As many startups go, we’re still fine-tuning the interview process. Here’s what we know for sure: You’ll first have an initial screening call with Tara or Negin. After that, you’ll:
 

  1. Meet with the Head of Operations 

  2. Meet with the Founders

  3. Meet with their Sales Mentor from the Accelerator Centre

 

There might be a final step, but we’re still figuring that out!
