How Will I Make An Impact?

Reporting to the Director, Product Marketing, you'll be responsible for product launches, market/competitive analysis, and content development all while participating in go-to market product release functions.

 

You’ll be a product and market evangelist. You will collaborate with marketing, product management, sales, and customer success teams to develop innovative programs and content that drive demand. You’ll grasp and present Auvik’s value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems. 

 

You’ll be an expert on their buyers: who they are, how they buy, and their key buying criteria. You’ll understand the competitive landscape, ensuring Auvik is positioned to make the most of market opportunities - and recognize potential threats to the business. You’ll act as a liaison between clients and internal business units like Product - ensuring that feedback is a two way street, that clients are heard and that the product iterates accordingly. You’re going to be engaging directly with clients! You’ll encourage the team to listen to prospects and customers, developing a deep understanding of the challenges they face.

How Do I Know If This Is For Me? 

As their Product Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Be the expert on their buyers: their problems, how they buy, and the markets they work in

  • Understand market changes and how they impact customers

  • Plan the launches of net-new market product releases and updates

  • Champion the Auvik brand both internally and externally

  • Create marketing plans, product positioning and message that resonates with buyers in current and new market segments

  • Equip go-to-market teams with training content to better understand key buyers

  • Understand and support our sales/enablement teams; collaborate with them on the problems Auvik solves for buyers and users; assist and develop internal tools and external collateral.

  • Collaborate regularly with members of the broader marketing, product management, sales, and customer success to ensure alignment, develop high-impact go-to-market plays and assets, get feedback on program effectiveness and process improvements

  • Continuously evaluate systems and encourage process and documentation to enable more time for meaningful work.

Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

  • Product marketing experience, with some experience in network management or in an IT market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, launching products, conducting competitor analysis and market research).

  • A data-driven mentality with an obsession for optimizing program performance.

  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working.

  • A strong public speaker, comfortable in front of customers, large senior executive groups, and a solid communicator.

  • Excellent people and engagement skills to interact with customers, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. 

  • Bonus points for Pragmatic marketing certification!
