TECH FOR GOOD- ThinkLP

It’s client love time, where we highlight one of our incredible clients: what they do, why we’re excited to partner with them, the good they’re putting into the world, and what we're working on together!

Who?

Where?

Founded and headquartered in Waterloo, they’re a multinational company with employees across North America

What do they do?

ThinkLP helps retailers curb shoplifting and organized retail crime. Their loss prevention software products allow retailers like Nike, Home Depot and other Fortune 500 brands globally to track and predict looming theft issues with advanced AI-powered analytics. With theft and organized retail crime on the rise, they’re solving a mission-critical problem, and they’re already considered best-in-class!

Our partnership origin story:

Our partners at Communitech introduced us to the ThinkLP team in February 2023, shortly after being acquired by Alpine Software Group (ASG), an investment firm that buys uniquely positioned SaaS companies and builds them into market leaders with their people-first strategy at the core.

With a new CEO, Spencer Marzouk, at the helm and the influx of capital from ASG, ThinkLP is about to embark on an exciting shift ahead. They’re growing rapidly, which is driving the need for a formalized people function as the company becomes a values-based organization. Placing the right leaders during these critical growth periods and inflection points is our sweet spot, and so this partnership was an easy decision for our team at Artemis and ThinkLP!

What we’re working on:

We’re seeking a People Operations Leader local to Kitchener-Waterloo to join the ThinkLP team. This role will report directly to the CEO who is focused on building a values-based organization and carrying out the People First strategy by creating an exceptional work environment where every employee can lead a more purpose-driven life and feel aligned with the company’s mission. You’ll have the unique opportunity to build out and take their People function to the next level, creating a workplace that offers unmatched community and culture. The People & Culture function is not only valued, but it’s also central to the strategy. Thus, making this a very high-impact role.

Our ideal candidate has people operations experience in a fast-growing tech company, experience driving culture and change management, and building innovative People & Culture programs. You have leadership experience to build and grow a team, you’re excited by the opportunity to build a strong employer brand, and you have a tenacious will to win!

If this sounds like you or someone you know, Tara would love to hear from you!
