How Will I Make An Impact?


This is the very first dedicated Product Marketing hire for VersaPay so there’s lots of room to help to define and shape the role to leverage your key strengths and to grow with the team.

 

As the Product Marketing Manager you’ll get to:
 

  • Figure out how to effectively position the VersaPay product in the market - creating content pieces (alongside product management and marketing) that sets the tone for product
     

  • Work with the executive team, product, and sales management teams to analyze current product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and create plans for improvement 
     

  • Partner with product management to understand features, and develop strategies and campaigns to streamline feature inception and adoption 
     

  • Monitor the competitive landscape to address the strengths of, and opportunities for, the VersaPay product
     

  • Champion release campaigns - educating the sales teams about the new functionality and working with marketing to create sales tools 
     

  • Be a thought leader - speaking at relevant industry and VersaPay conferences, writing articles and blogs, visiting customers and setting the tone and direction for social media campaigns

Do I Have What It Takes? (Requirements)

  • You are an experienced Product Marketing Manager with 5+ years of work experience 
     

  • You are deeply knowledgeable of fundamental product marketing principles
     

  • You are adept at managing competing priorities and working effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative and team-oriented environment
     

  • You have a strong knowledge of Accounting practices and exposure to Accounting Software is preferred
     

  • You have a strong understanding of SaaS software solutions
