We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Salesforce Team. This team will be responsible for all Salesforce implementations at League. We currently use Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, but are looking to both deepen and expand our usage of Salesforce.  The Salesforce Team will be responsible for best practices, architecture, implementation, operation of the Salesforce services we use.

How will you make an impact?

  • Own the best practices, architecture, implementation, operation of all Salesforce services we use and plan to use.

  • Build and scale a strong Salesforce Engineering team - small at first, with strong growth plans

  • Work with other teams to understand requirements and goals where Salesforce may be used effectively.

  • Facilitate good architecture and solutions based on modern software development patterns and practices

  • Provide technical leadership for the team, including pairing with team members on development tasks and code reviews at times

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of a software engineering team by providing coaching, leadership, and guidance

  • Motivate and encourage the engineering team by ensuring goals are properly defined and achieved

  • Assist in defining and continually enhancing processes and practices for our growing team and harness the power of agile methodologies

  • Build clean and effective software solutions that meet functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability expectations with an efficiently operating team

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience leading software engineering teams; a passion for mentorship, project management, and process improvement

  • Technical hands-on experience building scalable SaaS solutions

  • Experience developing Salesforce cross-functionally, integrating it alongside other apps (NetSuite, Jira, etc)

  • You strive to understand the needs of engineers, the platform, and the customer

  • You are comfortable planning and executing projects from idea to completion

  • You understand how to plan, build, test, and maintain complex software applications

  • You have an appreciation for pragmatism and simplicity in code
