How Will I Make an Impact?

As the VP Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the sales organization and driving scalable growth. You will:

  • Lead a 20-person sales team, overseeing direct and partner sales channels.
  • Support the establishment of foundational sales enablement and revenue operations functions to improve data visibility and performance.
  • Drive the implementation of industry-standard sales quotas, commission structures, and sales processes to align with the company’s growth goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop strategic initiatives targeting new segments and geographies.
  • Drive results in a high-volume, high-velocity environment, achieving ambitious customer acquisition and revenue goals

Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like: 

  • Proven leadership in a B2SMB environment
  • Experience managing and scaling sales teams, ideally within the Canadian market.
  • Demonstrated success in defining, executing and managing basic sales structure, including strategic segmentation, territories, quotas, sales stages/process, methodology and commission plans.
  • Familiarity with CRM system configuration and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities, with a track record of aligning with cross-functional teams - including Marketing, Product, Support, and Finance.
  • Ability to lead change, motivate teams, and foster a culture of high performance.
  • Experience in HR tech or similar industries is a plus.
  • Visionary leader with a strategic mindset and hands-on management style.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and able to navigate through periods of uncertainty and change.
  • Results-driven and passionate about achieving measurable impact.

The Interview Process

  1. Initial call with COO to discuss your experience and alignment with the role.
  2. Meet with other execs (Finance, Marketing, Product)
  3. Meeting with the CEO to review high-level plans for 2025 and gain insights into company goals.
