Senior Director of Finance – Virtek Vision International

Who Is Virtek & How Are They Changing the World?

Virtek Vision International is the world’s leading provider of precision laser and vision-based templating and inspection solutions.

Headquartered in Waterloo, they serve customers worldwide in the aerospace, prefabricated construction, transportation and manufacturing industries. Their solutions enable customers to produce their products better, faster and at a lower cost. They have a strong focus on continued innovation to meet the needs of their customers’ complex manufacturing processes, and they’ve recently integrated AI to enhance their capabilities.

They are well positioned for growth given their recent acquisition by AMETEK in October 2024. AMETEK is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions, with annual sales of $7 billion. Virtek’s focus on innovation and AI is a strong strategic fit with AMETEK’s previous acquisition of Creaform, in the 3D measurement technology space. The partnership between Virtek and Creaform enhances technology offerings by combining cutting-edge 3D measurement with laser projection and AI-powered vision solutions.

“Together, we will boost accuracy, streamline workflows, and create digital production records to support efficient, error-free manufacturing. Continuous innovation is on the horizon for early 2025—stay tuned for the exciting solutions we have in store for the industry."

–  Dietmar Wennemer, CEO of Virtek.
