Established to empower developers, this new team led by Jonathan Lafrance, Head of Architecture, is essential in adapting best practices to meet the needs of their expanding team and clientele.

How Will I Make An Impact?

As the Platform DevOps Team Lead, you will:

• Spearhead DevOps within the forming Platform team, enhancing product delivery and deployment.
• Enhance DevOps metrics such as velocity and cycle times, significantly boosting product release speed.
• Guide and support a growing team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence. 
• Establish guidelines and frameworks for secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Enhance the development lifecycle by identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to secure and standardize cloud infrastructure.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and create tools that enhance developer experience and productivity.

• You have deep expertise in AWS cloud solutions, designing secure and scalable architectures.
• You’ve led platform or DevOps teams by setting technical direction and mentoring engineers.
• Demonstrated leadership in developing effective DevOps frameworks.
• You have a strong background in AWS CDK and automation strategies for infrastructure management.
• You have experience with standardizing and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• You've improved developer experience in order for teams to be more efficient.
• You have the ability to align platform strategy with business needs and communicate effectively with engineering leadership.

Frontend: React, Typescript, Redux, Tailwind CSS, Next.js

Backend: Node.js, Typescript, AWS, MongoDB, Express.js, PostgreSQL

Tools: Bitbucket, Jira, AWS CDK

Location:

• Our ideal candidate is based in Montreal, Ottawa, or Toronto; bilingual capabilities are a plus.
• Prepared for a flexible hybrid work arrangement.
• If not in these locations, remote is an option.
