How Will I Make an Impact?

  • Design and implement machine learning models to optimize the performance and reliability of battery energy storage systems (BESS).
  • Develop predictive maintenance solutions to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
  • Analyze IoT sensor data for performance optimization, anomaly detection, and safety improvements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate AI solutions into BESS platforms.
  • Build and validate scalable data pipelines for processing operational data from BESS systems.

Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

  • A strong foundation in AI/ML, simulation modeling, or predictive maintenance within energy systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or R, with hands-on experience using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Knowledge of BESS components and experience with tools like MATLAB/Simulink or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and IoT data processing.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or data science.

Location: This position is open to candidates based in the US (CA, TX, or AZ) or the UK.

This is a remote role, with 25% global travel required.
