• Enlighted is looking for an amazing Firmware engineering manager who can lead the Smart building connected products. 

​

• Their platform is installed in over 250 million square feet of commercial real estate building and transforms their infrastructure into a robust, always-on, always-computing, end-to-end secure sensor platform. The rich set of data the platform produces helps transform their customers' businesses and workplaces by visualizing, analyzing, and providing insights, and it pays for itself through energy savings.

• The Firmware Engineering Manager will drive the direction of the firmware team with outstanding technical and managerial skills. This hands-on role entails significant ownership of our world-class firmware design, ranging from architecture, implementation, validation, and full life cycle ownership.

• You know how to improving team efficiency by developing scalable, reliable, and highly re-usable firmware.

 

• You can develop, enhance and debug new and existing real-time firmware in C.

• You are comfortable collaborating closely with hardware designers in platform decisions.

​

• You work cross-functionally and participate in scoping of new projects and features and can deliver to project management and sales to support new client engagements.

• You love goals and can mentor and lead growth across all levels, for both onsite and offsite teams.

 

Do I Have What It Takes? (Requirements)

​

• You have 9+ years of experience in Software/Firmware product design (consumer, industrial or medical)

 

• You have driver level programming experience and a strong knowledge of micro to hardware interfacing requirements and implementation in firmware, such as PWM, A/D inputs

​

• You’re proficient with electrical test tools (scopes, high voltage probing, network analyzers, etc)

​

• You have strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills

​

• You’re experienced with networking protocols and wireless interfaces

​

• Embedded Linux development would be an asset but is not required

​

• You possess a Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree

​

• A Master’s Degree and/or Professional Engineering License preferred but not required
