Who Is Koble?
Some companies are “mission-driven” and then some companies are really mission-driven. Koble is one of them. They’re a digital health and community platform for expecting and new parents… think of a MasterClass, but for prenatal, postpartum and family care with built-in interactive experiences. They support women and their families from the 2nd trimester to 12 months post-birth, and that’s just the beginning. research.
Families learn from world-class experts, such as OBGYNs, Lactation Consultants, Naturopaths, and more, with bite-sized lessons based on evidence-based programs. They even have personal roadmaps for women and their partners to guide their transition into parenthood, with direct support from experts! Koble plans to include group care, therapy sessions, individual and couple consultations… providing personalized care every step of the way.
What makes them different from other women’s and family health platforms? Community: parents can connect with and learn from people on the same path, accessing a private community locally and globally.
Recently funded, female-led, and with a strong beta picking up traction quickly, the team is ready to welcome a Head of Engineering!
How Will I Make An Impact?
As the Head of Engineering, you’ll lead all engineering efforts both strategically and practically. For the first quarter, you’ll transition Koble from a progressive web app to a mobile-first platform to provide greater value and increase Koble’s engagement with families, while ensuring new modules are released on time. From day one, you’ll manage Koble’s development team (2 co-ops + hiring a Sr. Engineer!) and collaborate with two incredible freelance product designers. Moving forward, you’ll work strategically with the founding team to build the product roadmap, grow the engineering function, hire accordingly and of course - be a stellar people leader.
How Do I Know if This Is For Me?
You’re driven by making a positive difference in the world around you. You’re a strong developer by nature, but love leading teams and can juggle doing both in a startup environment. You’re ready to own and grow an entire engineering function, working closely as part of the founding team. This isn’t your first rodio - you have led engineering teams, worked in startups or scaling organizations, and know how to take products to market quickly.

Able and excited to code hands on
