How Will I Make An Impact?

This might just be the best Growth Marketing Lead opportunity in Canada (if we do say so ourselves). The team is looking for a tenacious Growth Marketing Lead to develop and scale Float's top of funnel growth engine, experiment and be a player coach to a lean & talented team. This position requires a curious, scrappy, growth-oriented mindset and deep skills in B2B growth marketing. You will be extremely hands-on in driving and executing growth strategies and tactics from start to finish.

How Do I Know If This Is For Me?

  • Design, build and iterate on our customer acquisition funnel to drive consistent month over month growth

  • Continuously test and experiment on new ways to generate top of funnel pipeline, using this feedback loop to identify growth channels to scale

  • Own the planning and execution of demand gen campaigns across digital and offline channels

  • Own our website performance, using CRO experiments to achieve best-in-class conversion rates and bring website visitors into our funnel

  • Work with our external performance marketing contractor to invest in profitable performance marketing channels

  • Partner with our sales team to ensure quality lead delivery and proper follow-up


What your week-to-week looks like:

  • Execute on multiple growth experiments - ship fast and often

  • Review funnel data to identify opportunities for further experimentation

  • Design and execute demand gen campaigns around key product launches, working collaboratively with our Product Marketing Lead

  • Report on and share findings from growth experiments with the broader Float team

Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

  • You have a great track record. Ideally you have 7+ years experience in a growth marketing role at a high growth organization including experience in an early stage startup (Seed or Series A) where you had to build from scratch.

  • You are an owner. You have owned a pipeline or revenue goal before. You have experience being fully accountable for increasing growth metrics and have achieved or exceed targets for at least 2 consecutive years in prior growth roles.

  • You’re a technical marketer. You operate with a data-first mindset and have excellent analytical skills, including an understanding of experimental test design, audience segmentation, tracking, and interpreting results.

  • You are an innovator. You are curious and relentless in your pursuit of growth targets and are excited to operate in a scrappy way. You have experience unlocking growth through creative problem solving.

  • You’re driven and action oriented. You have an extremely strong work ethic and approach each situation with energy and enthusiasm. You are committed and determined to achieve or exceed expectations and act with a sense of urgency.
