Lead FPGA Designer – Motion Gestures

Who is Motion Gestures?

Based out of Kitchener, Motion Gestures is a breakthrough gesture recognition platform engaged in product partnerships around the world.

This ambitious startup specializes in cutting-edge gesture recognition software for use with motion, touch, and vision sensors on cloud, gateway, and embedded platforms. Their software incorporates industry-first innovations that deliver benefits such as the elimination of software coding for partners who want to incorporate gesture recognition into their solutions, automatic generation of training data, and gesture compatibility with different sensors.

Motion Gestures has been recognized as one of the top startups in Canada, is prominently featured in international press, is presenting at major global consumer electronic shows, has strategic partnerships with top-tier firms in key industries, and is gearing up for major expansion financing.

How Will I Make An Impact?

You’ll get to work in a fast-paced environment where you will see your work come to life while working alongside brilliant innovators.

As the lead for critical FPGA development, you’ll own the design and development for solutions in partnership with some of the world’s top chipset manufacturers. You’ll have full accountability and ownership of your projects and work closely with the other team members to fulfill the implementation requirements

You’ll design and implement DNN (Deep Neural Network) such as CNN and SSD into FPGA. And will also design and implement embedded C/C++ code for SoCs and MCUs such as ARM series.

How Do I Know If This Is For Me?

If you love the opportunity to innovate and work in fast pace of a startup and are excited to see your work powering devices across many industries globally, then this opportunity will excite you! With use cases in VR, mobile apps, electronic wearables, home automation, and even military, this platform uses the latest in machine learning technologies.
