- FILLED -Director R&D - Innovation

Are you intrigued by challenges in cybersecurity? Are you excited about the idea of scaling and mentoring a team? Then you should check out this role.

Artemis Canada has partnered with Arctic Wolf Networks (AWN) to find a new Director of R&D Innovation.

Arctic Wolf Networks (AWN) is developing a platform and suite of solutions and services to ensure that mid-sized enterprises can operate with the peace of mind that their data and systems are secure and that they will not suffer from security-related business disruptions.

With the nature of security threats constantly changing, it is the small and midsized organizations that are most vulnerable. Arctic Wolf can augment a generalist IT function, with tools and experts that are tuned for needs of today and tomorrow. Where large enterprises often employ a team of security experts, Arctic Wolf enables all companies to leverage the best security solutions with a service offering that sits on their advanced security platform and solutions.

This is an exciting time for AWN! They’re working on their next generation of products that will automate all roles within a world class security organization, extending a platform-based service offering to clients that will be tailor-made for their unique needs.

With a significant round of funding, they are transitioning the business from a SOC (Security Operations Center) as a service company to a platform/product company. To do this well, they are looking to grow their senior R&D team.

How Will I Make An Impact?

This is a pivotal time in AWN’s journey - they’re planning to add about 100 team members over the next 12 months. You’ll get to work closely with VP R&D, Dinah Davis, to mentor the team and be responsible for the direction, operation, and scaling of the development team as they build new cutting-edge technology.

In this role, you’ll execute against the product roadmap, help guide the team on architectural direction, manage the team budget, hire talent, and enable the career growth of your team members.

How Do I Know If This Is For Me?

This company really focuses on supporting the career progression of all employees and so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to mentor and scale a team.

If you value a supportive, collaborative culture, AWN might be a good fit for you. Maintaining their amazing culture as they scale is of utmost importance to the AWN leadership team

If you’re looking to be part of a growth story, then this could be a good role for you.
