How Will I Make An Impact?
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will oversee strategy, day-to-day operations and people management of the marketing team. This team values collaboration and creativity and as the Director of Marketing, you will get to help establish a culture of testing and optimization.
As Director of Marketing, you’ll be instrumental in setting strategy for both new user acquisition and brand awareness. You’ll be setting the team’s vision and priorities, managing people (both the content and design team leads and individual contributors), and rolling your sleeves up every day to make things happen.
Partnering with the VP Marketing, you’ll build and lead a team responsible for lead generation and nurturing at every stage of the marketing funnel. You’ll get to work cross functionally with other leaders in the business, including Sales and Product.
You’ll help the company achieve its goal to grow sales 10x over the next 2 years.

Do I Have What It Takes?

5+ years in startup marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS

A ton of grit: you’re ready for a big, challenging role and embody a “driven to succeed” value

Proven ability to develop revenue-generating demand generation strategies and execute effectively on your plan

Proven leadership skills (previous people management experience required)

Highly analytical, quantitative and results-oriented; strong understanding of the processes and challenges of a software company

Strong working knowledge of digital ad platforms and trends, particularly Google Ads, paid social and B2B software directories

Looking for proven experience managing a marketing automation platform like Hubspot, Marketo or Pardot

At least some experience with or exposure to event management and tracking results from trade shows and meetups

Strong desire to cultivate and produce results as a team; highly motivated towards providing coaching and guidance to produce the best team results and growth trajectories for individual team members
