Are you looking for an opportunity to build a marketing machine from scratch and lead an eager team? Artemis Canada has partnered with RouteThis, an exciting young company with a fantastic product, looking to bring on their first marketing leader.
RouteThis began out of a need that the founders, Jason and Matt, experienced while working on another service. Out of necessity and love for a challenge, the team set out to create a platform that would give unparalleled insight into home networks – with none of the cost and time that accompanied custom hardware deployments or firmware updates.
Jason and Matt realized that they weren’t the only ones - their solution addressed an issue many businesses face. Their key markets are ISPs and Smart home products. With their deep understanding of the needs and the pain points modern businesses were experiencing, they commercialized their solution 2 years ago.
Now, they’re just shy of earning $2MM ARR currently and they’re aiming for $3 to $4MM targeted next year. And the growth doesn’t stop there. They’re aiming for $10MM+ the year after that. They’re privately held, venture-backed - they completed their last round in the middle of 2018 - and ready to grow. In order to harness this growth, they need a seasoned marketing leader who is ready to join the leadership team as a strategic business partner. They need someone to help build and scale their marketing strategy.
The platform provides a tremendously detailed picture of customers' home networks. This allows support agents to quickly and easily resolve connectivity issues, without asking customers for tons of technical information, deploying specific hardware, pushing firmware updates or doing remote desktop sessions.
What’s their long term vision? Automating the world’s tech support - the next time you need tech support, you shouldn't have to call in to get your issue resolved.
How Will I Make An Impact?
You’ll get to set and build the marketing strategy - content, campaigns, events, channels, etc.
You’ll get to own the BDR process and the team from process creation, hiring, management … all of it.
You’ll get to lead sales enablement/product marketing initiatives.
You’ll get the chance to grow; they’re looking for someone who would ideally like to grow with the company - into the VP level and beyond
How Do I Know If This Is For Me?
This will be a good role for someone who is looking to build something from scratch and help it grow. The RouteThis team has collected a lot of data but needs a leader to set content strategy and figure out how to use this data to grow the business. This will also be a good fit for someone looking to set all external facing messaging for all parts of the sales cycle.
Do I Have What It Takes? (Requirements)
You have experience with a variety of marketing channels and know how to leverage each to result for the best ROI
Overall, you’re a good manager and a great people leader, ideally with 8+ years of marketing experience and 3+ years of people experience
You have experience with product marketing/sales enablement
You’ve owned sales funnel/all funnel metrics and channel marketing
