As Computer Vision Data Research Scientist you’ll get to develop what you create and build on what has come before you. Performing data collection, data manipulation, data analysis, data visualizations, algorithm development, and other research in machine learning space specifically deep learning for gesture recognition.
You will Implement product prototypes and design experiments for evaluation and transition product prototypes into production versions for commercial deployment.

Do I Have What It Takes?

M.S. or PhD degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.

Deep understanding of Machine Learning and Statistical Modelling, Image Processing, and Computer Vision.

Expertise with Deep Learning and associated frameworks such as CNN, RNN, and SSD.

Expertise with statistical analysis and machine learning tools, packages and languages such as Tensorflow, opencv.

Excellent coding skills in C/C++. Knowledge of a range of other languages and environments such as Python is a plus.

Expertise with Git version control.

End-to-end model and classifier development experience (ie. collect, develop, test, implement) for various applications.

Comfort working with Linux OS, command line, and shell scripts.

Excellent problem solving, communication, and team work skills.

Demonstrated ability to work and deliver in a high-pressure environment.

Strong publication record

Embedded Software Engineering experience

Experience with different sensors such as Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity, Infrared Camera, and ToF (Time of Flight)
