We're working with a well-funded software company with experienced leadership and just under 50 employees. They've spent the last five years developing their intellectual property (wireless technology) and refining their product-market fit. Their technology is opening up a new market, and they're on a mission to transform the way the world interacts with and uses wireless signals.
How Will I Make An Impact?
This company is on the cusp of immense growth and as a result, we’re looking for a CFO/Chief Commercialization Officer to partner with the CEO to evaluate the strategy and execute on the vision.
You will be fundamental to the company’s success. You will be a key advisor to evaluate customer/partner opportunities, monetize the business, manage the P&L, lead fundraising efforts, and determine the best strategic path forward.

You are a strategic business advisor and operational finance leader excited about the potential to scale a technology company globally.

You are experienced in working closely with enterprise customers to position a company, align on the commercialization strategy, and handle contract negotiation and deal structuring.

You have managed up to a board and/or investors, delivering the pitch story and aligning on the strategy.

You have successfully led and secured VC funding.

You are passionate about determining the best way forward for the company to maximize future earnings and shareholder value, and executing on the plan to get there.

Do I Have What It Takes (Requirements)?

CPA designation and a university degree in a relevant field

An understanding of what it takes to effectively lead in a fast-paced, start-up environment

Proven leadership experience in a technology company with a software or hardware focus

Experience leading Finance/Operations with a high growth scaling company (VP/CFO)

Experience in managing the P&L for a company and building financial models to execute and optimize the corporate vision

Well versed in contract negotiations with enterprise customers (ideally with OEMs and ISPs)

Experience successfully navigating the M&A process
